He has a point, no matter what you think of the guy himself. OpenAI is neither open nor non-profit.

I've long been kind of fascinated by Ari Emanuel. If he were a video game character his stats would be like: high intelligence, high charisma, high work ethic, zero morality, zero ethics, zero empathy. I suspect the world at large is fortunate that he spent his life extracting billions from the entertainment industry rather than doing something more harmful like going into politics.

All that said, it's hilarious that he'd call someone else untrustworthy. Peak "pot calling the kettle black" moment here. Sam probably refused to pay him some massive fee or partner with him in a lucrative (for him) way, so now we'll get months of attack pieces.
