PARI/GP computer algebra system

PARI/GP is an open-source computer algebra system developed at the University of Bordeaux since the early eighties. It is designed for fast computations in number theory, algebraic number theory, elliptic curves, modular forms, and L functions. The system offers a wide range of functions to work with mathematical entities like matrices, polynomials, and algebraic numbers, as well as transcendental functions, numerical summation, and integration routines. PARI is available as a C library for quicker computations. The system includes an interactive shell called gp and a scripting language named GP.
