I switched from Lulu to Amazon a while back for the better margins. Also Amazon had a more computer-booky form factor. I make more money on Amazon than I did with Lulu, but I like Lulu more as a company.

I'd be interested to see what happens to this author's sales if they decide to give away the ebook for free. (And, yes, DRM on an ebook is actively harmful to your brand. Pirates never see it and only legitimate customers are negatively impacted.) My ebook is free online; my paper book sales are very much appreciated to help cover my grocery bill, but I'm definitely not quitting my day job.
