Modern retro-consolers keep trying to get the old pixel graphics games to be sharper and brighter. I guess because the actual pixel style has become aesthetically appreciated but the old games were designed to be blurry on a CRT screen so the colours and lines blended properly.

Here's a classic example on this topic: https://imgur.com/a/AzX2kc8

My jaw was unperturbed. Seems to increase brightness on some variants of the OG console, cool and technically impressive, but hardly worth writing home about or spending $100 on.

I'm rather excited to see a blog post somewhere explaining how and why this works. Considering the amount of effort the mod's creator underwent, it seems like that would be quite the treat.

or just use RGB cable and bypass all this nonsense.
