Russia Finally Admits US Landed on Moon

Russian Space Corporation Roscosmos' head, Yuri Borisov, publicly acknowledged that American astronauts did land on the moon during an address to the State Duma. Borisov confirmed the authenticity of lunar soil samples provided by the U.S., dispelling doubts about the 1969 moon landing. Despite previous skepticism among Russians, Borisov's statement aligns with tests conducted by the Russian Academy of Scientists. The admission comes after years of conspiracy theories questioning the moon landing's authenticity, with polls showing varying levels of belief in the U.S. and Russia. While some Americans still doubt the moon landing, a majority accept its occurrence. In related news, China's recent mission to the moon's far side successfully returned with samples, marking a significant achievement in space exploration. Borisov's acknowledgment adds a new chapter to the historic moon landing, emphasizing international collaboration and scientific verification.

What a weird title. Neither Russia nor USSR has never denied that Americans landed on the moon.

Not too long ago Russia declassified documents related to the project "Poisk" ("Search" in Russian) which was devoted to intercepting American astronauts' communications with the ground.
