Microsoft Azure is currently investigating issues affecting multiple services in the Central US region. The problems began around 21:56 UTC on July 18, 2024, with some customers experiencing failures in service management operations and connectivity or availability of services. Microsoft is aware of the situation and is actively working on a resolution. An update is expected to be provided in 60 minutes or as necessary. The last update was issued at 23:17 UTC on the same day.

Brutal. This really exposes a unique vulnerability with azure that doesn’t exist with AWS or Google cloud. I wonder if some core Linux package somehow hit a boot race condition how resilient some aws and Google would be

Seems to be affecting a number of airlines. Frontier, Breeze, Spirit, Alaska, Allegiant.
