Texan construction workers put a rocket up Team SpaceX over 'unpaid bills'

An investigation by Reuters has revealed that at least 72 liens have been filed against SpaceX and its contractors in Texas since 2019 by over two dozen construction firms and suppliers. Liens are legal claims filed by creditors against debtors' assets to ensure payment. The total value of the liens against SpaceX's properties in Texas is at least $2.5 million. Some liens have been resolved, but many businesses are still owed significant amounts by SpaceX, leading to dissatisfaction and strained relationships. The situation has become more complex with subcontractors also filing liens. Small businesses like CMC Construction and Hydroz Energy Services LLC are among those reportedly facing unpaid bills. SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has faced similar issues with unpaid bills in the past. The rate of liens being filed against SpaceX has increased, indicating a growing problem. The article also mentions Tesla's reversal of Supercharger layoffs, rehiring some workers in its charging division.

Playing stupid games with accounts payable is standard big corporation bullshit. It is so refreshing to work with corporations that don't play those games, although they are the exception rather than the norm.

Is it just me or is that headline impossible to parse? I have read it several times and still I have no idea what it is saying.

So, Tesla is hiring back some of the Supercharger team that they fired. How convenient after Elon Musk's payout. Make bold moves and then oops, claw some of them back.
