Wiz becomes the fastest-growing software company ever (2022)

Wiz, a cloud security company, has achieved a significant milestone by reaching $100 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) within just 18 months of its launch, making it the fastest-growing software company to achieve this feat. Wiz focuses on helping organizations reduce cloud risk and has attracted top-tier clients like BMW, Salesforce, and Slack. The company's success is attributed to its innovative approach to cloud security, offering a platform that provides visibility, context, and immediate operationalization without the need for agents. Wiz's Security Graph technology identifies and prioritizes risks across various layers, enabling organizations to enhance their security posture effectively. The company has also expanded its capabilities to include breach detection and coverage for Oracle Cloud and Alibaba Cloud. To support its rapid growth, Wiz has expanded its team, onboarded top industry executives, and opened new headquarters in New York. Looking ahead, Wiz aims to continue evolving as a critical security platform for organizations leveraging cloud technology.

Wiz is another bastard that impacted us yesterday. We had to fight it while it was making AWS snapshots constantly. Literally it killed our MTTR.

This whole sector needs to rethink itself. In the CIA triangle it's all about the I and a pile of cash but never about the A, which is what the customers give a shit about.
