For me the Fallout 3 was the "3D remake". It's also a perfect example of uncanny valley phenomenon and the reason why older games has so much charm. When I play Fallout 3 I see empty spaces and unrealistic places. At the same time, playing Fallout 1 or 2, visiting cities made of a very crude architecture and a few sprities invokes deep connection and memories. Same as with books, your mind has to fill out all the empty spaces and make the story yours. For that reason I don't look up for any 3D remake of any old game I played and treasure.

Oh shit it's out? Fallout is having a moment, with Fallout 13 (remake of FO1), Fallout London, and now this. My summer can only fit so many wastelands

Hmm, this project doesn't seem to be stemming from Microsoft Zenimax Bethesda Game Studios... there may be trademark and/or copyright issues here... I dunno, something about this gives me bad vibes. Maybe it's just 'cause it ain't OSS.
