ReMouseable: Use your reMarkable tablet as a mouse

reMouseable is a project that transforms the reMarkable tablet into a mouse for computers, enabling users to write and draw on digital whiteboards. It is compatible with both reMarkable 1 and reMarkable 2 tablets and is considered stable. Installation varies by operating system: for Windows, users need to download and rename the executable file; for OSX and Linux, similar steps apply with additional commands to make the files executable. The application requires the SSH password of the tablet for connection, and users of reMarkable 2 must specify an event file. Common issues include OSX privacy settings and SSH password flags on Windows. The project is developed in Go and is licensed under the GNU General Public License version 3. For those seeking more actively developed alternatives, the repository suggests the remarkable_mouse project, which offers additional features. Detailed instructions and further information can be found on the reMouseable GitHub repository.

Is anyone aware of any tool, or even reverse engineering, for the screen mirroring feature? I have tried the official app with Wine in the past and the experience sucks.
