It’s a fine list.
But to me the items on it feel like life-lessons you have to learn along the way.
For me, I know what I would tell my younger self.
I was born into poverty and no one told me or ever taught me how the world really worked. It was assumed you’d grow up and get a job and things would work out in the end.
So here’s what I would tell myself:
Invest early and often.
Put extra into your pension, buy and hold ETFs.
Do that from the moment you are old enough and earning money.
That’s it.
Money isn’t everything, but money gives you options. Money can help others. You need money. Getting rich suddenly is unlikely to happen.
