I see the opposition not so much as loyal opposition trying to hone a better competing sense of truth, but as saboteurs trying to create a jumble, working to defeat there being able to be a truth. There's such a strong reality distortion field, and so much of it turns to Know Nothingist vapors when called to account for itself.

Endless banter promoting a hyper reality that bears little resemblance to the actions and signs that do exist.
