dealing with the radar systems or other monitoring equipment. The declassified NORAD logs from the February 10, 2023, incident off the coast of Deadhorse, Alaska, reveal significant power fluctuations at the command center during the intercept of an unidentified aerial phenomenon (UAP) designated UAP#20. The logs indicate that the Continental U.S. NORAD Region (CONR) facility at Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida was involved in the operation, which is part of NORAD's ongoing mission to ensure air sovereignty and defense for North America. The logs, released under the Freedom of Information Act by the Canadian government, suggest that advanced countermeasures may have been employed by the UAP against NORAD's command and control systems. The incident highlights the complexities of modern air defense operations and the potential challenges posed by unidentified aerial threats. The logs document a series of events leading up to the identification of the UAP, including power outages and the activation of backup systems, which raises questions about the effectiveness of current defense technologies against such phenomena.

- Declassified NORAD logs reveal power fluctuations during the UAP intercept.

- The incident involved the CONR facility at Tyndall AFB, Florida.

- Advanced countermeasures may have been used by the UAP against NORAD systems.

- The logs document the operational challenges faced during the event.

- The incident underscores the complexities of modern air defense operations.

> orders the facility remain on emergency diesel generation power until after the UAP20 intercept mission is completed. This is a very odd command to give

Since when is "we've got enough fuel, let's deal with one issue at a time" an odd command?

> Line 39: A rather lengthy log entry by WO Roberts, possibly describing the countermeasures the UAP deployed against the Raptors that were reported by the pilots involved. Redacted in full.

Holy baseless speculation, Batman!

Absolutely no evidence to suggest linking the power failure to the incident. Did I miss anything?

Occams razor idea -- state actor spy balloon/drone + state actor hackers inside the power system?

Skimmed the article and it seemed like a lot of speculation and redacted military communications. From Wikipedia:

On February 16, 2023, US President Joe Biden stated that the downed object was probably a civilian-owned balloon and "most likely tied to private companies, recreation or research institutions".
