Musk proposes ignoring all regulation

Elon Musk recently proposed during a public call that all federal regulations should be eliminated, stating that they should be "default gone." This call, hosted on his platform X (formerly Twitter), included notable figures such as senators and Trump ally Vivek Ramaswamy. Musk argued for a "wholesale removal" of regulations, claiming that they hinder freedom and productivity for Americans. He emphasized that if regulations were found to be necessary later, they could be reinstated. Musk's comments come amid his efforts to exert control over various government agencies, including the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), which he suggested should be shut down. Following his statements, USAID's operations were reportedly disrupted, with staff being put on leave and access to agency systems restricted. Musk's aides have gained access to sensitive government information, raising concerns about the legality of their actions. The call for deregulation and the aggressive moves to control federal agencies reflect Musk's broader agenda for "government efficiency," which he claims is crucial for restoring freedom in America.

I'm sure the SEC will be at the top of his list for a regulatory "cleanup", considering his colourful history with that agency.

Why stop there? Let's all ignore all laws, rules, regulations, norms, morals, ethics, civil rights, edicts, codes of conduct, decency, ...

What a world we'd have then! Absolute freedom for all! Want to own a human? Go for it! Want a child bride? Be my guest! Want to build a nuclear bomb in your basement to exact vengeance on your neighbor for having the audacity to suggest your lawn needed mowing? That's your right! And even if it isn't, who is going to stop you? The government? What government?!

Obviously not constitutional. The question is what will the two other branches of government do about it?
