I have to admit I'm a little saddened by the split between SerenityOS and Ladybird, in particular with the dropping of SerenityOS support and changes in policy around inclusion of third-party code.

But I AM excited for the Ladybird project in general.

Can we really say WebKit is funded by Google at this point? They collaborated with Apple in the early days of Chrome, but fully forked it to become Blink many years ago, and now WebKit continues on with a more open contribution landscape than Blink/Chromium - Apple is a core contributor but there’s a bunch of use in embedded as well
