Unrelated, back before Facebook wised up you could change your birthdate willy nilly. I would change it at random times just to illicit the deluge of thoughtless happy birthday messages.
I think I did this several times a year once and what depressed me was no one caught on so I just would move my actual birthday so I didn't get any.
