Mozilla Foundation has no members

The Mozilla Foundation operates without members, as outlined in its bylaws, giving all power to the Board of Directors. This structure means that the foundation is not community-based, with decisions made solely by executives. Even regular contributors have no say in the foundation's direction, as there are no elected board members. This lack of community involvement has led to criticism of the foundation's decision-making process. Despite this, there are other organizations and communities dedicated to internet activism that provide alternative avenues for participation. The revelation about Mozilla's structure sheds light on its governance model and the implications for stakeholder engagement.
