Generation Z Is Revolutionizing Sex

Generation Z is reshaping the landscape of sexual relationships, characterized by a decline in casual sex and dating despite the availability of dating apps. Studies indicate that many Gen Z individuals prioritize emotional intimacy and platonic relationships over traditional romantic connections. This generation, often labeled as "puriteens," is navigating a complex sexual landscape influenced by cultural shifts, the #MeToo movement, and economic pressures. A significant portion of Gen Z has not engaged in partnered sex, with many opting for alternative forms of sexual expression, such as cybersex. The rise of inclusive media representations and online resources has fostered a more open dialogue about sexual identity and relationships. However, the lack of comprehensive sex education remains a concern, as many young people report engaging in risky behaviors without proper consent. Gen Z's approach to intimacy emphasizes authenticity and informed choices, with many feeling comfortable abstaining from sex altogether. This generation is also more likely to identify as LGBTQ+, reflecting broader societal changes. Ultimately, Gen Z is redefining intimacy and relationships, focusing on emotional connections and personal fulfillment rather than societal expectations.

- Generation Z is dating less and having less casual sex compared to previous generations.

- Emotional intimacy and platonic relationships are prioritized over traditional romantic connections.

- Many Gen Z individuals engage in alternative sexual expressions, such as cybersex and BDSM.

- The lack of comprehensive sex education leads to risky behaviors among young people.

Yeah, about that. An alarmingly significant part of Gen Z and younger gens reportedly claim that strangling is a standard part of sex. 1/4 (or more) are claiming a non-binary status (which in itself is fine on an individual level but alarming as a trend) There's hardly anything positive about this "revolution".

We should clearly start working on ways to reliably postpone children's contact with online porn. Until somebody proves otherwise, we should think there's an obvious causation here.
