Tell HN: Pivotal Tracker is being shut down

VMware Tanzu has announced the end-of-life (EOL) for the Pivotal Tracker service, which will take effect on April 30, 2025. Customers with active subscriptions can continue using the service until this date, after which it will no longer be available. Users are encouraged to export their data before the EOL date, and instructions for data export are provided. It is advised to migrate any necessary data promptly, as VMware will not offer support for data migration after April 30, 2025.

We were also said when head the news. We are using it since 2010, but we wanted to build tool that feels like home to Pivotal users. you can check our progress litetracker.app (don't want it to sound like an ad, as we want to build it for ourselves mostly)

That's too bad. I worked at a shop that used it from 2014-2018 and I really liked it.

Seemed to have an opinionated yet quite simple and low-friction Scrum/Agile oriented workflow. I personally liked that about it. I got the impression you could skip the story points and stuff if you just wanted a basic ticket tracker.
