Intel XeSS 2 DLL files leaked days before launch

Intel's upcoming XeSS 2 technology, which includes new modules for Super Resolution (XeSS-SR), Frame Generation (XeSS-FG), and Low Latency (XeSS-LL), has seen its DLL files leaked ahead of launch. These files, available on Nexus Mods, are believed to have been obtained from leaked game patches. However, the effectiveness of XeSS 2 relies heavily on support from game developers, meaning that the leaked files may not be usable without official integration. The latest XeSS SDK from Intel is version 1.3.1, while Nexus Mods lists a newer version, 1.3.2.38. The XeSS-FG feature is compatible with all Arc GPUs except for Meteor Lake and Arrow Lake-S, which lack the necessary XMX cores. Intel's B580 graphics card, set to launch on December 13, is expected to compete with the RTX 4060 and features a potential overclocking capability. The B580 will retail for $249, with an embargo on reviews lifted a day earlier. As of now, only eight games are confirmed to support XeSS 2, but this number may grow as the Arc series gains traction.
