The wing of the Airbus struck the tail of the regional jet, resulting in damage to both aircraft but no reported injuries among the 221 passengers on the Airbus or the 56 passengers on the regional jet. Delta stated that passengers were rebooked on other flights, and the airline expressed apologies for the incident.
