The new Mac mini, which has not been updated since the M3 launch, is anticipated to be smaller and will include five USB-C ports, as confirmed by a recent software update. This model may come in different configurations, potentially offering variations in port availability. Additionally, Apple is expected to introduce new lower-end iPads, including updates for the iPad 10 and iPad mini, which have not seen hardware changes in over a year. Keeping the mini line alive is good news to me. It's the low cost pathway into the M-chip apple world. I only work at a desk with full monitor/keyboard/mouse so I don't want to pay a premium for laptop form factor.
