These articles are exactly what's getting trump elected. Yes Elon probably doesn't like many things about trump. But he realized things like "calling any speech you don't like facist" (like this article does) is way more harmful than someone being a little mean sometimes. Not that Trump's behavior is great, but this country is great because we have a culture of open discussion. And some people are trying to hijack and destroy that culture to protect people's feelings. "To think is to offend" and it's important we promote free thought.

Yes tech companies want to protect their businesses. They are businesses. That's why they put their liberal programs in, and that's why they are loosing them as the culture moves past them. They exist to make money, not to be moral entities.
