Zuckerberg says administration pushed Meta 'super hard' to take down vax content

Mark Zuckerberg, in a recent podcast with Joe Rogan, revealed that the Biden administration exerted significant pressure on Meta to remove posts discussing potential side effects of COVID-19 vaccines. Zuckerberg expressed his general support for vaccines, stating they are "more positive than negative," but criticized the administration for attempting to censor discussions that he deemed truthful. He noted that the White House specifically requested the removal of content suggesting that vaccines might have side effects, which he felt was unjustified. Zuckerberg did not disclose the identities of those who made the requests but emphasized that Meta would not take down content that was "inarguably true." This statement aligns with previous criticisms he has made regarding the government's handling of COVID-related information. Additionally, Zuckerberg commented on the broader regulatory environment, expressing concern that the U.S. government has not adequately protected its technology sector from foreign regulators. He expressed optimism about working with the incoming Trump administration, suggesting a desire for a more favorable environment for American technology companies.

And all their recent moves feel like pretty transparent moves to appease the incoming administration. Everything changes while nothing changes.

I'll make some controversial statements.

I had odd thrombosis-like bouts in my legs after each of my first two Pfizer shots, and during one after the second round, the leg issue (I mean, you could feel the bump) subsided yet also resulted in my sigmoid sinus (in the ear) completely blowing out leading to pulsative tinnitus [0]. What was more curious was that the Ear specialist who actually fixed my problem was 'curiously cautious' in that he more or less said he thought the vax was the best thing overall yet had seen a huge uptake in patients with curious verifiable issues afterwards.

My gut says we won't see anything about the real impacts until all legal liability has elapsed...

And yes I've been boosted since then, I just think we haven't been told enough.

[0] - LPT. Fix it ASAP. It drains on you in a way that makes it harder to deal with the longer you wait.
